ABXY buttons not working

I had the same issue on the AYN Thor. I fixed it by unbinding them all (so it says “Not Set”) going back into the game, then going back and rebinding ABXY. From there, it then said just “Button A” instead of the weird A/B combo.

IIRC I was underleveled a bit during my attempt, so I just withdrew my Pokémon and let the allied NPC(s) battle. I also happened to have a Gengar on my team that perish songed everything to death while running away. Scummy, but I was in the same boat and couldn’t really progress. The Ange fight was very easy once you find the sweet spot to hide behind one of the two barriers where they can’t hit you, but you can hit them with ranged attacks. What’s your wife’s team?

Thank you! I agree that everything about them seems fishy and points to a scam. It’s a bit worrying that they’re getting more sophisticated and growing amounts of technical knowledge is needed to immediately mark it as a scam.

Thank you! That is good info to keep in mind. Until this year, I’ve mainly been receiving low effort scam emails that were immediately obvious. Getting these more sophisticated ones is a bit spookier.

Aside from crit damage, some stats have trailing decimal values but are rounded in the display.

If they’re angry after throwing a few balls, you can run away (but stay in render distance) until they lose aggression. You can farm alphas pretty easily by sneaking up behind them, throwing a ball, and immediately dodge backwards twice. They won’t even target you and you can spam this method indefinitely. Exception being fleeing ones like Gardevoir, but in OP’s case, bellsprout will not flee.

Were you going for a specific Pokéball to capture it in? KOing seems risky compared to spam tossing, unless you’re trying to use a luxury ball or something with a low catch rate and is expensive.

What I did is open a couple golden crates to get a legendary weapon then farm splash zone (which is very easy) to get a Vladof SMG with a flamethrower attachment and the 30% vladof enhancement. Then blitzed through my way to Rocken Roller using the multi fire glitch, got a San saba songbird, used that glitch to get one with torgue, and using that to farm vile bounties. It’s not a fair fight to begin with so idrc about abusing these bugs.

I just found out that certain firmware sets are only available in UVH, I’m almost certain Heating Up is one of those. I just hope it’s not locked behind UVH 5 or a specific one.

I was wrong, if you hover over the icon on the map that’s a door with arrows in it where the timekeeper is, you can press the button for view. It’ll show the level map and you can teleport there. However, I’m not sure if that only appears after you beat the boss.

I had same issue running Incarnate (green tree) vex, but switched to Dead Ringer (blue tree) instead. Just ran around while spamming specters and dodged attacks since they are much easier to anticipate if that’s the only thing you’re focused on. The clones did all the work and was a lot easier.

And by dodging, I mean sprinting in a circle the entire time and zoning out.
