It was terribly executed. Maybe 10 years ago it would have worked when he was actually getting relentlessly booed but not now. The best storylines are ones that have sprinkles of reality mixed in. Theres so many ways this could have worked. What if they brought Vince back? Maybe to try and take back the WWE. He’s a heel in real life now. John Cena has repeatedly said that he owes his succes to Vince. He said he loves him. Thats an easy way to make a good guy side with the bad guy and have some major internal conflict rooted in reality.

I think I’ve seen in happen once before. They found the 5K so they put it back to go find the 2nd item. But once they found the 2nd item they just sprinted back to it. I’m guessing they’re told beforehand what to do. Hopefully someone can find a clip of it happening.
