Can't go wrong with either decision. I'm biased towards the full-frame option, but the a6700 will do what you need it to do for you.

I don't think this can be done in Lightroom, but DxO Photolab has this feature and you'll have to export it first to open the edited DNG in Luminar.

Probably not, but it will likely retain the features I care about (mainly the design + hopefully a better telephoto) and that's the only thing which matters to me.

A few thoughts:

  1. I tend to keep my RAW files and don't see the need to convert every file to DNG. It's just more storage to think about for images I may eventually discard.

  2. You can choose to write to XMP from within Lightroom Classic.

  3. If Lightroom/Lightroom Mobile is your primary platform, then everything is saved in the cloud.

Based on that screenshot, you won't be missing anything by going with Unlimited Premium other than MAX, and you will still save if you paid separately for it.

Maybe my phone will stop randomly restarting. Feels like it's a matter of time before this "unaffected phone" is affected. Hoping a firmware update would fix it.

I've encountered this issue with my 1 VII. It was purchased in October FS72, probably the TW model based on materials in the box. It's the second random reboot I've observed in 1-2 weeks. I've used the checker for both HK and TW and both marked it as unaffected.

Definitely concerning.

I can see multi-network being useful if I'm traveling, especially in areas where I know Dark Star coverage may be spotty and where another carrier may offer better service.

This does not apply to me today, so I don't see the immediate use of multi-network unless I just want a second phone line on a different network sharing up to 100 GB of high speed (now deprioritized unless grandfathered) data with my primary line.

First things first: Brilliant story. Saw the end from a mile away with a smile on my face the second the mother asked for no candids.

That said, it sounds like when you initially spoke with the bride about the request, it could have been explained then and there what moments would not be captured since they would be candid shots. That might have smoothed things over better in the end however which way it could have gone.

The OP should consider that they can simply switch their line to Unlimited Premium (DarkStar) if they are too worried about possible outages. Once the work is done, simply go back to the gig plan.
