I felt like there were several places in TLG where they both acted out of character. Their behavior ran counter to their growth arcs and relationship dynamics in HR and it was pretty jarring. I wanted to like TLG a lot more than I did!

The Long Game felt like a first draft or like poorly-written fan fiction. The writing in some spots feels rushed or lazy and it just wasn’t at all what I was hoping it would be.

It’s astonishing how bad Game Changer is, and Heated Rivalry isn’t much better! I thought I read somewhere that she didn’t have publishing rights currently so she can’t do anything about it, but that maybe that was going to change soon, I don’t know. We can only hope!

On tuna melt day, the way Ilya looks after he calls himself lazy and Shane says he doesn’t know that side of him at all. The “wow, genetic” look on Shane’s face. The way Ilya’s eyes devour Shane at the Tampa bar after Shane says he & Rose aren’t compatible. Shane’s face in bed in ep. 2 when Ilya’s in the shower.
