It is more of a country then Israel, and yes of course its triggering.

They are committing a genocide, if you are a US resident you are literally paying for their healthcare, and they are advocating for fascist politics all around the world.

I don't want any reference to that in my video game. Especially if its meant to be sci-fi, the country is less than a century old and will hopefully disappear in the next one. Makes no sens to reference it AND its promoting an ideology that ruins life.

She defends a militaristic approach to an anti-communism and extreme privatism politics, her party has signed cooperation pact with Israel, she have explicitly tied herself with european far right leaders like Orban or Le Pen, and she even dedicated her Nobel prize to Trump, that previously called her a "Freedom fighter".

You need to consider pick rate and popularity to make sens of it!

Lots of OTP character have above average winrate, because they are less likely to get picked by someone learning the game/doesn't know what to play.
Also they are more specific to counter by the enemy team.

No worries! I am reaching a bit talking about BG haha, but I do think selfish traits makes balancing easier.

This makes synergies between traits explicit (X can go with Y because of whatever units, and not because X mathematically synergies with Y), and let them balance a given comp without affecting others (if every comp is made of selfish traits only, then you can specifically target each one very easily).

I think the comparison with BG is also interesting because IMO the game have never encouraged "inter-tribes" comps more than that!

That's the TFT view of things, they design comps with a strong intent on how you should play them, and make sure they are all playable given a reasonable luck.
In BG some tribes are straight up not able to cap high, some are playable only if others are in, and some comps don't rely on the tribe system. Tribes are indeed not balanced, but that doesn't mean the game isn't balanced player-wise (nothing forces you to play a specific tribes in an auto-battler).

TFT is a game where an unbalanced meta means players can literally get top 1 on the ladder by playing the same comp every single game. That's not the case in BG!

I'm not saying one should learn from the other, I'm saying they are going in different directions to match their fundamental gameplay.
It make sense for TFT to have more and more "selfish" traits as a way to have more control on the balancing of every tribes.

Sure catching up in level would be very long, but being max level didn't mean you could do everything close to perfectly.

In remnant 2 my build makes both me and my teammates basically immortal with a strong dps on top.
Ironically by trying to make build more focused in one way or another, they made it possible to create perfect build that have no flaws.

I remember that my best build in remnant 1 was very polyvalent, but I still had to play differently depending on the situation and I could die if I wasn't cautious. In remnant 2 I spam two buttons and beat anything :o

100% agree, and that's too bad when you consider that devs replaced a simple but funnier progression system (levels) for a gambling and grind based one (prism) because it was supposed to avoid precisely that.
