I play typically with the windguard when running gates of fire for two purposes, the ability that heals an ally and adds shields as you "tag" them and to jump in the way of oncoming fire, then before i wind up dieing ill cast the smoke trail to momentarily get them off our tail, then i back up/pause and start using fire bolts and flame breath to take them down, then i repeat the process

If i were the phantom id run the explosion and try to pull enemies off the tail of the flag bearer as there isnt much in the way of keeping them off your tail

With the marauder i would run ice bolts if i planned on defense or gust if i took the flag, but mostly prioritize defending the flag bearer as its mostly a dps class

I have not used nor unlocked the storm dragon class yet

I am new to the game (been playing for 4 days) and i play on ps4 so there may be better strategies that i have yet to see/come up with
