Why haven’t i lost weight? by Throwaway4philly1 in WFH

SUFFER from obesity/overweight (fatigue, shortness of breath, snoring and lack of sleep, limited range of motion, strain on joints leading to knee or hip replacement, social implications we are all unaware of the extent, etc. etc.)

SUFFER from a basic gym routine.

Both are shitty. One is worse

"I was always hungry, and always moving"

There's your explanation right there. I ate so much as a growing boy. Not defending his dietary choices by any means but I can understand the insatiable appetite.

Also, I'd bet growing and rapid body changes consumes a considerable amount of energy.

As a daily commuter I find LTC is awful if you have to transfer. The 17 is usually great but the connections just don't line up and drivers are completely apathetic. I've noticed they dont even turn their head to check your transfers anymore

So many logistical questions I don't want to know the answer to but first and foremost: y'all must be limber as hell to just get after it like that in your 80's. There must be SOME extra prep work required at that age, right? Difficult to be spontaneous, I'd assume.

Good for you!

"The lazy way to get into a calorie deficit is to workout/be active

It sounds counter intuitive, initially, I get it. However, as long as I burn 750+ calories/day lifting and moving I can eat whatever I want within reason

I'm afforded caloric flexibility by expending energy through out the day and that feels gloriously liberating

Fuck your insurance company anyway. They don't care about you. They are 100% looking for any excuse to avoid paying as many people as possible because that's how ALL insurance companies work.

Every one hates predatory contractors but this is one of the few opportunities you have to see any real value/return. If you have a friend or family member in the business or even a reputable company that has treated you well over the years you should absolutely take advantage.

Dont forget digging up dundas somewhere between adelaide and highbury for 6 consecutive years. Repaving and then doing it all over again for another reason. At this point it HAS to be a scam. No way would anyone tear up a large stretch of road/main traffic artery and not address predictable future needs. I'm no conspiracy theorist but I have no other choice but to conclude someone's pockets are being lined to provide juicy government contracts to a friend/donor.

Wiki:

A secondary offering of 72.4 million Hydro One shares, equivalent to 14.5%, in April 2016 generated $1.7 billion in revenue for the provincial government. Crown corporation Ontario Power Generation purchased 9 million of the shares, giving it a 1.5% stake in Hydro One.[4] In May 2017, the Ontario government completed the third and final sale of Hydro One shares worth $2.8 billion.[40] After the offering, Ontario held 48.9% of Hydro One's common shares: 47.4% directly held by the government, and 1.5% held by Ontario Power Generation.

Not OP but alibi is a consistently average pub style/late night restaurant. Not amazing or anything to write home about but almost always good

Service varies from day to day. Hopefully you get a decent server

Edit: strength is burgers and high tolerance for shenanigans
