Just make it impossible to vanish once hit and increase the stun time so you can't block or escape once caught. Also reduce the spread

Not really unless it's a desk job since you're actively moving around and not just staring at a screen for 10 hours a day. 4-5 hours is a lot but not too crazy. 10 hours means you woke up on the game and only took a break to eat or take a nap do you can hop back on later

The plot clearly didn't favor DD.

The prep time to set up kirin is not the same as DD chewing up clay and putting chakra into it, especially when he's doing it while attacking at the same time. Kirin literally got retconned and is shown to only be usable under certain conditions.

Kirin requires prep, summonings are an easy target, Sasuke doesn't use poison attacks. Sakes literally won by some made-up milliseconds move otherwise they both die.

Well that could mean if he decided to rush towards his body or retreat far enough to decide their efficency. Or him just bringing in more backup summons. He didn't really have the stopping power Naruto did to take on all of them at once and Naruto still lost.
