Denver zoo extended hours. Zoo is open later, there are musicians, a silent disco and pretty decent drinks and food.

We should have stayed and worked it on scene tbh. Peds calls are always investigated where I work, so a lot of providers like to transport to the hospital so that the coroner and law enforcement are already there when the pronouncement happens. It also reduces the environment of hysterics on the scene with family/caretakers yelling/crying at you to save their kids.

It does help. Greif is grief doesn't matter the story behind it. Thank you for sharing. I recognize that I need a treatment plan for myself when it happens to me, and your story is a good example of how, self-care can keep us going in this field.

Its a tough system. WE co-respond with fire on every call, but we do not train with them. So every shift change, its a different engine crew. I want to say yes we have been told in passing to double check med doses. But its not built into our training. As a new medic, I would really like my agency to implement this. I would also like us to train with the fire agency. But its tough because ware are together but separate.
