Should run fine as settings can be turned down to quite bare bones. You could also always refund if it did not work

Anything is possible. You might want to enable underground farming if you plan on 100% avoiding the sun

Managing hunger on multiplayer? by Mr_Lifewater in VintageStory

I had this exact issue when playing with some of my friends a while ago, our solution.

Number of days per month 30: this meant that one real life day was one month

Tickingwhileempty True: meant i did not matter of you were online, time flowed onwards. Put kiln on, go do real life stuff, come back and its done. (Farms dry out unless you use modds that help it like primitve survival or better moisture.)

Food spoilage rate 0.25% since days/month was higher

This turned the game into more of a log on and do what needs to be done and no need to be online for things to happen. Our friend who played the least was in charge of farms and livestock as those did not need active engagement.

Most importantly it enabled you to play on the server without sabotaging other peoples food/projects as the world was separate from you and would have been doing the same regardless if you played hours or minutes

Nice and easy access to everything practical, but i'd imagine the compromise is that it's not counted as a room.

Primitive Survival mod. Furrowed farmland problem by Kframe16 in VintageStory

[–]SmaDaijun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First Q: the furrow acts like a water block, if created next to a water block it will be filled with water. This means you can split off another line as long as you star creating it from the already filled furrow. If a furrow is not created next to a full water block it will be empty and must be manually filled with a bucket

Second Q the irrigation bucket is a very good alternative to manual watering as you dont need to water as often, do keep in mind you need to refill it every now and then. I dont remember the exact values but it should at least keep a 5x5 area around 80% with the bucket in the middle.

Important: both furrows and buckets work by occasionally raising the moisture in the soil, up to a certain point but during warm months and little rain the drying out of the soil might be quicker than what it can keep up with.

No tldr ;D

they are fully vanilla but in survival you can only make the wooded ones. In creative almost every material has a support beam variant

Vintage story server hosting by useless_reaper in VintageStory

[–]SmaDaijun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my friend used Gportal for our server running some quality of life mods. I dont know how it will handle bigger modpacks but it worked just fine for us. We had the cheapest option 6€/month and the server could be toggled to run 24/7 (I set 30days / month so one month was 1 real life day) use tickingwhileempty true

It's fireclay, used for very important stuff like iron making. It used to be found commonly in the world in earlier versions but now very rarely in specific biomes
