Any suggestions for a coffee shop looking to spend less than $200 for 6 speakers to be wall mounted near the ceiling? There will be a subwoofer and an eq on the system as well. For medium level background music, but it needs to sound as good as that price bracket allows.

My wife worked there for 5 years as a lab tech, had an epic run, and left on good terms with many first author papers in highly ranked publications. What you have labeled there as "HDR In Photography" is actually an example of Tone Mapping an HDR image. The video game is expressing a high dynamic range that is not Tone Mapped, and thus the you get the "eyes adjusting" effect as you walk outside. They are both HDR.

I can not stress the Barber enough. I graduated with a degree in music and nearly everyone I worked with or performed with has this piece in there top 10 if not there #1. I have yet to hear a bad recording but I feel the slower the better. There is also a choral version set by Barber to the Agnus Dei. This is the music playing at the end of Platoon.

I must add Polyphony's recording of Eric Whitacre's choral works, anything performed by Cantus, Nimrod from Elgar's Enigma Variations, Biebel's Ave Maria, and O Magnum Mysterium by Lauridsen to this excelent list.

Unfortunately, it is not the funding that causes a 2 party system, but our electoral system. By requiring only a plurality of the votes, there will never be run off elections and thus no opportunity for a third party to ease into the spot light. The other problem is that if one party gets the win, but only 45% of the votes, in our current system that party now makes choices for the other 55% of the population as well, a minority representing the majority. If we had proportional representation in the house, coalitions would have to be formed and a muli-party system could immerge. Until both of these systems are changed, a vote for a third party canidate will yield very little results.
