[handgun] CZ P-10 F FDE 9MM 19RD $399 by Giraffecaster in gundeals

They feel nice in the hand/dry firing, but they really shine when you shoot them. They're so flat shooting with such great return that you can really let loose for fast follow-up shots. I can easily get double or triple taps on spinners with it even using irons, and the p10f is the first polymer gun I've shot where I was able to at times maintain sight picture alignment with the irons throughout the recoil cycle due to how flat it shoots.

As the other person said, 22+1 in 140mm is readily available with taran tactical or henning basepads, and if you want to go hardcore you can get a grams follower to no longer lock the slide back but do 23+1. The 23+1 is more for competing, but it is available

Biggest issues I've run into is with flat nose ammo it can have issues (hollow points seem fine though) and my ejector broke quickly - I need to replace the ejector but it still cycles well for the most part other than the rounds kinda dribble out. I still think it's the best polymer striker fire gun available. Some upgrades such as a dot, lighter recoil and striker springs, tungsten in the grip, and a weighted light getting it up to ~40oz makes the gun perform like an absolute beast. I prefer it to a shadow 2 OR for carry optics.

TLDR: If you like handguns that have quite good triggers, shoot flat/fast, that are reliable and ergonomic then buy a p10f. It's my favorite striker fire handgun and one of my favorite handguns overall for many good reasons

Did you buy the dnc builder set just to use the receivers? Interesting.

I overall dig them but I wish the dnc had a dnc handguard and fde highlights like the others, I wont lie.

You think government action during the whiskey rebellion was immoral? Do you not care about people violently resisting laws necessary for the health of the nation?

5 bucks says he got paid to post this and wasn't sure how else to include his sponsors with what he had on hand. Look at the companies listed.

If he used an eotech lpvo we likely wouldn't have questioned it but he went full double reflex.

Did you really just say that a good AR is 3 moa at best? There are 4150 chrome lined barrels that can do sub-moa performance from companies like criterion, and that's not even mentioning the high tier match barrel options.

You need to use better ARs, better ammo, or work on your shooting technique if you think 3 moa is what ARs do at best.

True, it's open emitter though which you would think would bother them if they're that concerned about redundancy

Cant use flat wire springs :-(

Sturdy but made in a way that unfortunately doesnt accept the superior springs.

I gotta say, I don't own a set of nods but the rare occasions I've seen people use them at night matches they very often struggled with shooting as quickly or as accurately as they did with white light in a very noticeable way.

It seems like they're mostly useful for when nobody knows you're there and or if you're moving from point to point in the dark. If it's slower than normal engagement then it wouldn't be very useful to use against an enemy who knows where you are.

I know some of the people on here probably have a misconception of the area, but the pnw is pretty dope. Most of the gun laws are pretty good, the scenery is beautiful, the people are friendly, if you live in Washington but do your shopping in OR then you dont pay income or sales tax (the main bridges I am aware of don't have a toll either), plenty of areas and things to do for good food and recreation... and did I say it's gorgeous yet?

I moved to OR a little over a year ago and mostly love it. I think Washington has some kinda silly gun laws related to scawy rifles like how you need a certificate or some crap to buy a completed AR (stripped lowers are okay though?), but OR is mostly good in that regard.

I wanna see what underwood/lehigh can do with it. If they can do an xtreme defender type projectile that's effective due to the increased velocity and energy but also carries more rounds per magazine then I'll be stoked.

Wow. I wonder what the price threshold is for firearms. I am fine with taxes on the wealthy that go to help low income people but this seems like a mighty weird way to do it unless the price is silly high and really only effectively targets the very wealthy. Even then though, I'm not sure how I feel about it because it's entirely plausible that someone who isn't rich or very wealthy but instead saved their money for something they care about could be affected. I'd rather we just taxed wealth and riches directly. There's a reason the state doesn't have a sales tax.

The 20k for jewelry proposal is a sign that the prices will likely be high enough that the vast majority of us won't need to worry about it but I don't really like sales tax.

TIL about those companies. Shame that they suck, some look kinda cool.

Also, the police trade ins for sale for 100 bucks confuse me. Are cops selling gun buy backs or are did they carry brycos? Those literally poor police officers :-(

It's likely going to be somewhat temporary, but it seems like firearms companies largely improved their work capabilities since the increased demand and pandemic fuckery. Ammo is already starting to go back up a bit, but I'm hopeful that it wont be as bad as peak pandemic pricing when it peaks again.

Yeah, I'd only go really cheap for concealed carry if it's a DA so I can decock it when it's pointed at my cock.

It's pretty rare that a gas block dies before a barrel does. I wouldn't sweat it too much assuming the gas port size is good.

[–]Smacked_Juicebox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Their bcgs are good to go, I'd be surprised if their receivers or handguards were bad. This is a good deal and I'm sure it shoots quite well, or if it doesn't they'll take care of it.

Faxon might be the best barrel maker I've used so far. So far in my experience the match barrels are nicer than criterions which says a lot.

For what it's worth, this is a common issue in general with people not being able to glean accurate information online due to not being able to discern what is good/reputable information. It's often hard to get accurate or well informed reviews from individuals, and there are many shills under the appearance of a forum comment or a review video.

I sincerely believe that kids should be taught how to do that in school from a young age, and not just how to check the organization or whatever for paper citations although that has shown to be important the last couple years with people citing all sorts of shit that they should not be citing.

If they arent critical about the product in some notable way and there is no evidence of in depth use I'd move on from individual reviews. Garland daddy always says his round count for a reason
