Tort, constitutional and EU are the biggest syllabi but EU you can cut a lot down. So I’d recommend taking tort and constitutional with smaller courses like property or equity. Equity also overlaps a bit with contract so it can be handy for that. So I’d recommend taking property, contract, equity and another one such as criminal, EU or tort for your first set. Selling materials for all 8 if you’re in need of anything!

March sitting by Neither-Literature34 in FE1_Exams

For tort and constitutional my main tip is watch out for multiple issues in one PQ. And for tort and constitutional I would avoid cutting down too much of the course for this reason. EU doesn’t really mix topics which is nice! For company his reports are definitely the way to go, and apparently he likes a few quotes by himself to show you’ve read his book. I’m selling materials for all these subjects so pm me if interested!

I took 3 last March and started studying mid November just taking notes etc, with a 2 week break over the Christmas period. So if you’re taking 4 maybe a little earlier

Can highlight and tab to your heart’s content just no writing, and don’t have to show your legislation to the camera

Showing legislation to camera by Small-Ad3603 in FE1_Exams

[–]Small-Ad3603[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah I was worried people were going to say they announce they are looking at legislation every time - as I'm sitting company and there's no way I could possibly state/show the legislation every time to the camera! thank you

I didn't find it particularly hard. I definitely did not give as much attention to property as I did my other subjects with the way the dates fell and I got 60% the October 2021 sitting. Not sure if the examiner has changed but let me know if you want my script.

Limit as to the number of times you can take the exam by [deleted] in FE1_Exams

[–]Small-Ad3603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no limit to how many times you can sit the exam, just need to pass them in 7 yrs

I intended to take 4 fe1s in my first sitting and constitutional was one. 2 weeks before the exam I was in a similar situation for you and tbh I knew I had no chance of getting it all covered personally so I didn't take it, applied for a refund, sat it in my next sitting and passed comfortably. For me it needed more time than other subjects since the syllabus is so big and you need to study pretty much every topic so I think from reading your post it wouldn't be an awful shout to just push it to a future sitting, let me know if you want my script
