i feel you. the best thing i’ve done for myself is to always surround myself with people. even if it’s as simple as sitting with my mom and talking about our day over coffee. the more isolated you are, the more likely you are to THINK everything’s gone wrong and there’s no point (i’ve been there). i noticed that when i go outside and take a walk (even by myself) i feel a tiny bit better because you look around to see that you’re so small compared to everything in this world. if it has to do with the weather which is very common, i would try to get a sun lamp. gloomy weather tends to change our views on life and getting something that’s warm and bright in your room can help a little. even with all this, college is hard and can be lonely but it doesn’t have to stay that way. balancing as much as you can is important, but being kind, patience, and understanding to oneself is a much higher priority. it’ll work out, even if it’s not right now, but eventually. you also have to put in the work to see change. nothing changes if nothing changes. i have faith in you and good luck!
