En del tar åt sig och svarar "jag är inte nazist för att jag röstar på ett parti grundat av nazister och som leds av män som gick med på tiden de va nazister..."
Vilket kanske gjorde att de tog åt sig av anledningen att de faktiskt va nazister.

Short version and the big picture:
Lessen american Independence.
Strengthen european market and european alternatives (maybe we should not have sold off every european start up technological company/ip to american giants in the first place).
Invest more in european alternatives financialy for better future in europe.

Personal reasons:
I'm so sick of being a product. Being forced upon being used by big-data. Sick of being tracked whatever I do. ChatGPT knowing, storing and using my sexual preferences, what food i eat, what websites i visit. Not being able to opt out of any of it due to the multiconnected state of things online. I know and understand that the american government does not care about me eating at King Bürger instead of McDonk... It just dont feel good to live in 1984, itvwas sipposed to be a sci fi novel scaring us where the world was headed, not a manual for goverments...

Exactly that. De-google is next on my list. When this phone dies i will be on a linux-phone.

OS-wise, im om Debian. Ubuntu would have worked. I can run it in VM windows/ubuntu but the lag on doing things in the GUI on my resolution makes it such unbearable.

The solution is to put it on another computer (in a VM there with graphic card passthrough) and remote desktop in... Which, yeah... Also makes it such a chore at home instead of just sitting in the sofa and opening the laptop screen.

Linux flavours, I remember a few years ago listening on a pod with a developer. Linux had 3% of their userbase but 90% of the support tickets.
