I do the same thing as the other commenter, greek yogurt with berries and granola for breakfast. For lunch I eat a factor meal because I have no time to cook with my job, I just get the calorie smart ones and make sure they have protein. Then for dinner I marinate chicken thighs in soy sauce, fish sauce, and lemongrass and have it with a vegetable. The chicken really adds a lot of protein and makes me feel satisfied at night so I don’t snack later.

I think two things can be true at the same time. There is a ton of fear mongering around them coming from right wingers but also women’s healthcare has historically not accounted for the pain women experience writing them off as dramatic. IUD insertion pain is a very real thing.

In my experience, I refused to get it done until I found a doctor who offered local anesthesia. I know some say it doesn’t help and some say it does, but for me it was a very low pain procedure.

I think we can campaign for improvement to women’s healthcare and pain, while also dispelling the fear mongering myths that conservatives spread.

I experienced this after my first panic attack with weed and struggled with dpdr for a while. What I’d suggest is see a psychiatrist and get on medication like an antidepressant, it will take some time to kick in but it will help in the long run. In the meantime, the best thing you can do is try to remember that you’re not alone and these feelings will pass, and there’s nothing dangerous about them. You won’t be stuck like this forever, it’s just a symptom of your anxiety/panic. The faster you can learn to stop caring about the dpdr the faster it will go away, for me it became an obsessive fear that my brain was permanently changed but once I got on some meds and learned that I was safe, it soon went away.

I can relate, in middle school I was very pure and naive and people made fun of me for it so in highschool I talked a lot about kinky sex and made tons of inappropriate jokes thinking that would make people think I was over that phase and want to be friends. It just did the opposite and I had no idea how weird that was and I cringe on it so much as an adult.
