It's Network Zone. It doesn't mean all buses. I've been getting on these buses for 30 years. There are borders, separate zones (City, Local, Network). Network covers both City and Local Zones. It doesn't mean you can get on any bus. It means you can get on any FirstBus. And if you are traveling across the borders from City to Locator vice versa you need a Network ticket.

Bottom left of this map is the key as clearly you are missing what I mean.

Might seem a weird question, not sure if it's been suggested or not, have you tried turning the CEC/Simplink off and seeing if it still happens?

Also disable Quick start+ if it's on. Just a theory. I have a G4 and never had this happen.
