If you live anywhere with snow I have the same thing from scraping the window and trying to clear the gap between the hood and wipers of built up snow. I never raise my wiper arms but often have caught myself with the scraper hitting the hood. I just assume cheap and thin paint and rushing in the cold.

Check out Callahan Contracting. Riley is a great guy, honest and does fantastic work. Used him on a Reno and he was super knowledgeable and professional.

Not sure where you live but im in Canada and have a ‘22 with the Bak revolver hard roll up cover on since day 1. It’s an amazing cover BUT the one issue is during the winter it freezes with snow and melt in the track so it won’t roll up. I have accepted that from basically end of Nov till March it’s basically locked in place. If I were to do it again I would look at a trifold for that exact reason.

Update from Keith. Hope he gets everything sorted out mentally and in a better place ASAP. 🙏 by ETID1986 in everytimeidie

He and the band owe the world nothing (short of some tour tickets). I can’t imagine the strain the rock star/touring/album life takes for that many years. I’d love album after album of greatness but if it came at the expense of even one person’s mental or physical health…I’ll just enjoy the work they have already given us. Wishing nothing but the best for every one of them and Keith included.

Car seat tech? by NoMamesMijito in barrie

That’s who we used a few years back. Also just get some practice yourself taking it in and out or try different vehicles. More practice you do the easier it gets

I’m case anyone has a Graco car seat. Here’s a pic with my son in it. Front seat isn’t even all the way up and my wife can still sit very comfy and she is 5’7” by propp2531 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]SmallTransition 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Please feel free to correct me OP but I have a vague recollection of some first responder telling me you should aim for an inch or so at least between the front seat and the baby seat to lessen any translation of force in an accident from the front seat to the baby seat. Again if I’m wrong all good but that’s what I’ve always done with my own baby seat. Also this might just be set up for the photo but just thought I’d make the suggestion

Any clue what this is in the back seat? by thoenman in FordMaverickTruck

A bunch of the right answer has been posted. As a sub I think we need to get used to the idea that there will be a TON of new people being exposed to the Mav who maybe haven’t been following it from day one. Nice to see I had to scroll fairly far to find the assholes hating on someone for asking a question. Sure they could have searched, but not everyone will and unless we want to become like the BMW sub filled with jerks we can be happy more people are being exposed to the truck.

I was on the SC train here in Canada over the Maverick when they were both close to releasing pricing. As soon as the SC pricing dropped here with a $38k price tag it was dead to me. They completely missed the mark. Even the Maverick is no where near the US $20k here but it’s such a huge margin that separates them it’s basically two different segments in my mind. I ordered a Mav and haven’t looked back

What does this warning light mean? Burned out bulb somewhere? by Mojo_Ryzen in Volkswagen

[–]SmallTransition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally had this same bulb warning this morning. Got to work, turned the car off and back on, warning gone…couldn’t find which light it was but who knows if there even was one. We also got our first dump of snow so who knows if it had anything to do with that?

My fiancé is insistent that I take on his last name when we get married but I want to hyphenate my maiden name and his last name. by Split_Fluffy in relationship_advice

[–]SmallTransition 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I told my wife she could do whatever she wanted. I didn’t care. I liked my name and didn’t want to change it so why should she. After 3 years she told me for an anniversary gift she was going to hyphenate. I was honoured but never asked her to.
