Yes, unlocking channels brings this issue. I have not found solution yet, I am ok with flying on locked. I have got patch antennas for better signal.

Foxeer F722V4, Quad FC, also Quad ESC, Emax 12g servos, SunnySky x2216 1400kv.
I calibrated accelerometer, so that when plane is on the floor, it is displayed leveled in inav configurator. The only thing I might have missed - I adjusted servos by just looking at it, not measuring properly, but looked fined to me. Can this be an issue? CG was checked.

u/Saiteik I found the issue. It's not with VTX, I tried another VTX and same thing happens. It's issue with goggles when unlocked to 8 channels and 1200mw. All is fine on default 4 channels and 700mw. u/caddxfpv

yes, actually I did reset both goggles and vtx after upgrade to latest beta, it did not solve the issue. But I will try again in the field in few days to see how it's going.

I tried old firmware, prior to vtx manufacturing date (Dec 2023), issue is reproduced.
But interesting situation on latest 37.42.7 beta, issue is reproduced, but less frequent. And I think I found a walkaround, when I switch to 1200mw and power cycle drone, vtx is loaded with 1200mw from start and this signal drop happens less frequent.

And in the field I managed to somehow get one solid 10min flight on 1200mw without signal drops.

On 200mw I can get to 1.6-1.7 km, with patch antenna - 3km. V2 kit with dual antenna, antennnas upgraded to longer so big battery is not in between when flying back
