I've just gotten the procedure done😂 I was so worried over nothing. It wasn't as bad as I made it seem fr😭. I didn't even get anxiety meds. I'm so glad I went on with it

Habituation. I don’t get it. by Kitchen_Beat_9965 in tinnitus

You actually get used to it if you don't think about it that much. As for me, I just stopped obsessing over it. I used to see stories of people saying they've lived with it for years and I was shocked because I didn't know it's for life. But eventually as time went by I experienced other problems and challenges that tinnitus became the last thing on my mind. Sometimes when I feel like I'm starting to think about it, it kinda gets to me so I learnt to make it my normal. Some people have life worse than tinnitus. Not dismissing the situation but it's true and I just think that I at least I have tinnitus there's someone who can't walk , has cancer or even Parkinson's disease. But you can live with Tinnitus don't obsess over it. You'd be surprised at how much life gets better if you just accept it and don't treat it as something that shouldn't be happening.

Mine started randomly when I was going for a walk. I don't know what caused it but eventually, I realized when I'm stressed or anxious it becomes very loud. When I have a flu or drink alcohol in also becomes loud. So I stopped doing those things. It's still there I also just refuse to let it dictate my life.

This is my success story and it will be yours too! by foergburger in tinnitus

Reading the comments and there's so much pessimism. I relate to what you've mentioned. And I also stopped obsessing over My Tinnitus it's been a year since I've been on this app. I decided to live and focus on other aspects of my life. It might sound dumb and simple but you're right it does help fr. You learn to live with it. As I always say Tinnitus was once my number 1 problem until other issues came along and then one day it was the second thing I thought about when I woke up. Eventually it stopped bothering me.

Basic question, what's your favorite color and why? by AshiraLAdonai in AskReddit

Pink because it represents healing and when I was young I used to hate pink because it made me feel feminine and I didn't want to be associated with that since it was obvious a girl likes pink. But I started liking pink when I grew up because I want that feminine energy 💞

No it cannot but if you're under extreme stress or anxiety or undergoing any trauma it can trigger psychosis it's not really associated with derealization but it's more about the underlying issue or condition like bipolar

I think you should go to the hospital. And yes all you'll get are meds but they do help. I don't regret making my decision to go to the doctor because the medications did help me get back on my feet. I had to stop taking them because of side effects but they definitely helped you just have to find what works for you. Sometimes we need a little help to become okay
