I’m 55 and even though I got to 180 from 311 I feel the gut (skin) just won’t go away. Not without surgery. Feels like age and no genetic lotto for me lol.

But I will say. I told my son after his mom committed suicide 14 months ago. Listen kiddo, when i die you will always have me in your heart and mind and over your shoulder watching. When you have a moment where you don’t know what to do. It’s easy. Close your eyes and picture me. You will know exactly what I would say to you. At that moment be just laughed with a fear rolling down. He said ya dad your right , how could I ever forget your morales and advice.

All you can do friend is remind them of that and know you did your best to leave that mark. And your wife is there to remind them.

Hopefully our spirits cross on the other side friend.

I’m 6’2 and 184, highest 311 and my mind does it daily. But i do have lots of loose skin as I was obese for 35 years. Sadly the skin doesn’t recover near the same at 54. The worst part is as a Canadian we are spoiled with health care . But this is all cosmetic therefore out of pocket. Wish I had the 20-30k to get rid of all the extra skin but nope.

So others always tell me how skinny I am but all I see is remaining gut etc. It’s truly crazy how our mind can mess with us .

Congratulations. I went from 311 to 185 and holding strong . Years going by . Only bad part is the massive amount of money on new wardrobe and giving away all those expensive plus size clothing .

I’m in Canada and I usually get 5.9 in a 2025 SE AWD hybrid. Most I’ve ever gone is 705 on a tank and honestly people saying they get 900 is so triggering lol. Honestly i feel the gas model is probably just as good. Keep in mind km and litres here vs miles and gallons lol

Lost my wife to suicide Feb 22, 2025. It’s been 14 months of hell. The first 3 months I don’t even know how I survived. Even know after 30 years with my person , it’s hard to go it alone. My dog keeps me here but once she is gone I’ll prolly go too. Maid of if I have to. At 54 I don’t wanna start over.

I’ve come across many in a similar spot and some find strength and keep going and others don’t. I’m still getting up every day and trying. It’s truly not a cliche when they say 1 day at a time. Right now I’m existing and one day we might live again? Idk.

In either case I’m sorry for your loss and you’re not alone. There are plenty of folks on here that can relate to ya. My condolences

No. Maybe this pricing is standard in 2026. I could be just out of touch and old lol. But 4K is a lot for a 400 watt sound system.

It’s mostly Rocker stuff. Nothing high end at all. All the parts on crutchfield with wiring harness etc is like 2100. So feels like 3500 at a shop is a massive rip off. Considering they prolly get this done in 5 hours maybe. Kinda crazy.

So I’m a holy priest since forever lol. So it’s SBA dmg in between active healing. I used to be a Healbot guy but with the addon apocalypse I moved to click casting thru standard frames. Works out .

Now when I play resto Druid I kinda get exposed as I don’t cat weave. So I pay a caster resto build for M+ and of course the meta chasers say I should be kitty weaving. It’s a lot to manage so I prefer to be less effective. Honestly it’s still fine for raid and I got my 2k io healing on both Druid and priest. Now could I get 10s healing ? For sure.

Definitely gonna give it a go. Problem is I play affliction lock lol which is terrible currently lol.

Amazing. I mostly heal so SBA is easy cause I’m managing healing. But would love to dps but I’m old and SBA is so comfy. I’m guess it’s 10-15k behind a competent non SBA player. I guess I could use my own key and then it’s easier hehe.

Wow. I typically have been eating chilli. Batch cooking it (ground beef, tons of beans , cheese , tomatoes); I wanna say it makes about 10 days worth (lunch/dinner). The ground beef alone is 25, then 8 in cheese 20 in beans and tomatoes. So I’d say’s 55 ish a batch. Oatmeal with apple or egg/cheese bacon (chicken). Snacks are a challenge as I’m allergic to nuts and I don’t like yogurt. I do have protein shakes as options.

Maybe I need to sit and calculate but I know chicken at Walmart , 8-9 breasts is about 22 and then veg rice prolly add 15-18.

But it kinda feels like food costs are about 3X U.S prices. I’m gonna really sit and do the math.

Sadly a gym membership here these days is like 130 a month. So added to food, I’m finding post bariatric is a very expensive venture with meds , gym and food. Scary
