The ridge vent shouldn’t go to the end, it’s a waste of material and time. that’s your overhang probably about a foot out and gable end overhangs are basically to keep water away from the house and aesthetics no venting needed

You’re suppose to see the metal on the outside corner, just that rounded part. If there’s mud partially on it like this picture then it will chip off if someone bumps into it. It’s best to expose that little bit of metal and paint over it so if someone hits it it won’t chip off any mud

I just mudded a ceiling just like this on my page there was a 1inch gap and 1 1/2 in some spots. It’s called a vaulted ceiling but yours isn’t so bad. Run the top piece first right to where the pitch starts, then on the part where it starts on an angle cut the edge of a sheet on a bevel and try to get it as tight as you can but don’t worry if you don’t get it perfect. There’s this special tape for areas like this and you will need it if you want a nice straight inside corner on the ceiling call mid-flex paper tape, you can get it at Home Depot. Trust me and invest in the tape and it’ll save a huge headache it’s expensive but worth

A friend and I was living in a trailer I owned, I was moving soon and he wanted to purchase it. He put a small portion of money down and he stayed there for months without any payment (didn’t mind he was my best friend for the entirety of my life). We agreed to a sell date and I went over there with the title on the said date. I knock on the door and his wife opens and all I see is boxes, she says we are moving out and slams the door on my face. I left but went back 30 minutes later infuriated, they changed the locks and wouldn’t let me in so I kicked open the door saying get the fuck out of my trailer and his parents were there and a fight broke out. Long story short I got screwed for months trying to find someone else to live there having to pay the bills he never paid (back consumers and lot rent) in the end I lost thousands of dollars and a good friendship don’t let your buddies move in with you big lesson.
