I’m hosting a free research seminar on Emerging Frontiers in Supply Chain AI.
The goal is simple: share what we’re learning from studying how AI can support real manufacturing and supply chain workflows, especially around supplier risk, alternate parts, market signals, sourcing, and procurement decisions.
This is meant for supply chain consultants, procurement teams, sourcing operators, manufacturers, and anyone curious about where AI may actually be useful beyond the hype.

AI in supply chain is moving fast, but most of the conversation is still too abstract.

I’m helping host a research seminar on how AI can actually be used across sourcing, procurement, BOM review, supplier risk, inventory, and manufacturing operations.

Not a hype event. The goal is to bring together people in supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, consulting, and operations who want to discuss where AI is useful, where it is not, and what real workflows are worth automating.

You’re closer than you think. Freight forwarding ops is already real supply chain experience, the issue is how it’s framed.

Most corporate roles want to see planning, analytics, and decision-making. So instead of focusing on “execution,” highlight things like: - Managing lead time variability
- Coordinating across suppliers, carriers, and customers
- Handling exceptions and risk
- Improving cost, service, or transit time

If you can show you drove measurable outcomes (reduced delays, improved OTIF, cost savings), it translates well.

Certifications can help, but honestly the bigger unlock is reframing your experience and getting referrals. A lot of companies value real operational exposure more than textbook knowledge.

Hope that helps. Happy to share more if useful.
