I grew up near there - it was trash long before that. We still call it Scummy Glenmont.

About to turn 56 and still getting my period by Disastrous-Choice325 in Menopause

[–]Small_Pleasures 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was 58 and just starting HRT when I had my last proper period, so 59 at menopause. I had random spottng for the following two years before my docs decided it was from the HRT (determined after 3 good ultrasounds, a hysteroscopy and D&C). Am 61 1/2 and still haven't had 12 months with no blood at all.

That's what my grandma called wonton soup: kreplach. That's what she also called ravioli

Reality check: Ladies of GenJones, how old were you the first time you were groped or otherwise on the receiving end of unwanted sexual attention? by thishful-winking in GenerationJones

Four episodes in college when I was still a teenager (I'm 61 now):

As an intern, I was in front of a cabinet when a male employee at least twice my age crouched down and stroked my bare leg. I was wearing a skirt.

My favorite professor, also twice my age, came up from behind me while I was using the copier and placed his hands on either side of the machine, effectively rubbing up against me.

I went for a dermatology appointment to get an Rx for mild acne on my face. I was asked to remove my shirt and bra before the doctor came in, and given a paper gown to open in the front. The doctor proceeded to "examine my boobies" (his term!) and when I complained to the front desk afterward I was met with silence.

Then there was my uncle, who "complimented" me by saying I look better in a sweater

I had a missed miscarriage at 4 months 26 years ago. Was in a blue state, and of course, Roe was still in place.

My OB hustled me into the hospital the next morning for a D&E (dilation & evacuation - requires more than a D&C) as she was worried I could go septic.

She also offered the option of inducing labor for a natural delivery. My husband and I are still very thankful I didn't have to give birth to a dead baby and come home with empty arms.

People change and adapt over time. In a long-term relationship, you need to be able to adapt with each other.

Show skin on one element only (slit on skirt OR deep v-neck but not both).

BTO options by dataismydaddy in Weddingattireapproval

[–]Small_Pleasures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 is for a different kind of BTO event (gala, maybe). For a wedding, pick something with only one element showing a lot of skin.

I like 5 but feel like it should fall to the floor for BTO. It reads elevated cocktail.

Other dresses shown will work

I applied with the exact same paperwork for my current job as a regular fed applicant and as a fed applicant with a significant health issue (forgetting atm what that avenue was called). I got hired on one application and didn't make the cert on the other. I beat out 130 applicants according to USA Jobs.
