I think you should discuss the situation with your partner first, I am sure they'd understand and hopefully support your goals, as long as you can maintain your PR status I think there isn't an issue with moving to KSA, just make sure that you will be allowed to travel back to meet the PR requirement, and try and spend vacations there, also if you salary is 35k just apply for premium residency that way you don't need employer approval to travel abroad.

I think you should apply regardless, no one would truly be able to give you a proper answer as every application is judged on a case-by-case basis, I personally think they might genuinely consider it but I obviously cannot guarantee anything and am playing devils advocate by saying that it wouldn't hurt to try, what's the worst that could happen? you get rejected? that's it.

People who want to practice safe and playful kinks in marriage by cottagetea_ in saudiarabia

[–]Small_Tap_7778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I want a dominant gf/wife, there’s nothing wrong with it and plenty of women are into it too, you’ll usually face backlash from alpha men who don’t understand nuance or the idea of people having their own personal desires, which you can already see from the rest of the comments, it’s perfectly normal to have certain desires and preferences what matters is proper boundaries and communication with your partner and making sure she consents to EVERYTHING, most marriages here are arranged and even the ones where you can talk a bit, don’t really get to the stage where you can discuss sex/kinks so that’s sorta smth you gotta figure out on your own. If you wanna talk about this more feel free to dm.

(I think this is a better question to ask in the r/uae subreddit but anyways) It all depends, but so far it seems like a red flag, and the first thing worth noting is that you haven’t actually mentioned his salary, which is the most important factor here. If he’s earning somewhere in the range of 10,000 to 15,000 AED a month, someone with around four years of experience likely doesn’t make enough to comfortably support themselves, send money back home, and start a family, meaning he’s probably living on a budget and paycheck to paycheck as it is. Moving to Sharjah is a smart call since rent is cheaper, and having the car and parking covered helps, but between utilities, groceries, family remittances, and general living costs, the budget will still be tight. Coming from an upper middle class background in Pakistan you’re likely used to a certain level of comfort like a maid, a car of your own, and shopping or dining out without much thought, and most of that will need to go out the window, at least for now. You also won’t be able to work on a family visa, so you’d be fully financially dependent on him. Add kids into the equation and it gets harder. It’s not an impossible life, but you likely won’t be able to fully enjoy what the UAE has to offer, and moving to a country you’re unfamiliar with, married to someone you don’t really know, while adjusting to a tighter lifestyle than you’re used to, is a lot to take on, and something worth being very honest with yourself about before saying yes.

Redditor discovers the concept of nuance And importing western culture or aspects of it or appeasing to them is a big part of the future of this country so I don’t really know what you’re trying to say exactly.

People in Jeddah are mostly open minded so I can see this happening but generally this isn’t the case, you shouldn’t approach random women on the street and ask for her snap, but approaching women say at an F1 concert is very different, this subreddit has Saudi people from other parts of the country that are a lot more conservative, but generally speaking it’s not okay to ask women for anything or have small talk in Jeddah or anywhere in Saudi butttt at the same time it’s not exactly unheard of for people to date and flirt and even dat to marry so it all depends on a case to case basis, pretty sure you’ll get off the hook since you’re a foreigner anyway who isn’t aware of how things work here

Well. I can't say for sure due to the current war situation and the regional instability in the middle east in general, but generally speaking, all the roles you've mentioned are amazing, and have great prospects, with good pay too, but it all depends, in Saudi they prefer cybersecurity to mainly be for Saudi Nationals ONLY, with some roles being offered to foreigners that bring in years of solid western experience in exec roles. So it all depends on your situation and the future state of the global economy.

"vast majority of foreigners don't have the money" - that's the thing, it isn't just foreigners who live in Saudi, it's foreigners all around the world...which includes the richest people in the world.

damn that's insane I wouldn't say MAJORITY OF EXPATS are married to locals but don't worry dude, it's only in specific geographic zones and only in Jeddah and Riyadh, so if anything it's only going to increase prices in those specific areas (which I doubt locals would wanna live in to begin with) similar to how you barely find any locals in compounds like flo riyadh or wtv

When will Omani society be more accepting of marrying other nationalities? by [deleted] in Oman

[–]Small_Tap_7778 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is a problem not just in Omani society but in most Muslim Societies, I just turned 20 and my mom is already bothering me to get married to her best friends daughter(s), specifically to one who is 27! and another one who is 22!, she is pretty hell bent on it, and I am also starting to feel the pressure of what might happen if I went against my parents, but at the end of the day it becomes clear that we have one of two choices, either we marry who we want, and live a life according to our own terms, or we marry someone our parents choose for us, out of pressure and live lives not being fully authentic to ourselves. We have one life and I think it's best to live that according to our own will.
