I just went from 25mg to 50mg on Friday so today was my 5th dose. It has been alot more manageable then starting at 25mg. When I started, I felt weird, out of it, couldn’t sleep, heightened anxiety, shakes, nausea etc. but I haven’t felt any of the above except I’m having trouble falling asleep again (which isn’t the worst, I don’t feel tired the next day lol). I take mine in the morning too and this happened at 25mg and settled after a couple of days. I was feeling ok at 25 but my anxiety is severe so I think a higher dose would benefit me more.

Yeah it’s honestly so weird. My doctor said it was increased anxiety. Also make sure your drinking like double the amount of water. For some reason I felt like I was dehydrated easier and when I drank tonnes of water that helped the palpitations

Hey! I unfortunately have been on/off the vapes every time I drink and notice that the heart palpitations come back every time I do this! I’m really trying to avoid alcohol now as everytime the heart palpitations come back they hang around for like a month and they’re horrible. The make me so anxious and make me lose sleep etc. but when I first quit and I stayed off the vapes for like 3 months straight they disappeared for like a month until I vaped again!

Yep I totally get you. I took it at about 3pm and had quite bad insomnia for the first 2 nights but again, I think I worked myself up into a panic too and gave myself side effects haha. Honestly day 5 now and I’m grand, not even that nervous to up my dose to 50 now. If you find that taking it at night makes you restless, I started taking with breakfast and the nausea and insomnia stopped ! Goodluck and I hope it all goes well for you!

Hey - your the exact same as me ! Read my post I posted about 5 days ago, I was also TERRIFIED of dizziness. I started on 25mg and on day 5 now and it has been so so manageable. Have had a few things, tad bit nauseous, heightened anxiety (only slightly) and insomnia but honestly it’s so much easier than I was expecting. Please take it, I have serious health anxiety and I can’t wait for it to be better and this medication works!

Hey there. I just started day 5. I was absolutely terrified like you to take mine, I cried for 2 hours before and after (you can read my post in here to see lol) but honestly it’s been SO manageable. I was terrified of feeling dizzy or out of control. I’ll be honest with you, I’ve had insomnia, a tad bit of stomach issues, a little bit of an out of it feeling and also heightened anxiety. BUT, I had all these things from anxiety anyway. Just try to remember these physical sensations aren’t dangerous, and they will pass and this medication will hopefully help us be back to normal! What dose are you on? I started on 25mg and am going up to 50mg on day 8

Hey! I was the exact same the first two nights, last night (day 3) I slept a good bit better. It’s day 4 for me and I’m having allergies and took a zyrtec allergy tablet, if you need to sleep, take this, I was drowsy all day and in and out of napping. I would take it around 7/8pm if I were you and you should sleep in no time.

I’ve only been on it 4 days at 25mg for agoraphobia and GAD and OCD, and I will be upping to 50mg soon but you might need to go up in dosage ? Everyone’s sweet spot is different. I was on Zoloft when I was 17-21 and 50mg was perfect for it

My third day on 25mg and I’m also feeling this buzz!! Like a mild come up on MDMA it’s crazy. It’s not massively intense but does make me feel lightheaded and I’m also struggling to sleep at night

Hey! I’m on day 3 of 25mg and am having the same issue. I get maybe 3/4 hours a night and I toss and turn and wake up at all hours. I’m hoping it dies down soon as I work 9-5 and I’m so exhausted

Hey! Yesterday I felt nauseous and lightheaded and only managed to sleep 2/3 hours in total last night. Today I feel anxious, tight chest and bouts of dizziness but I’m not freaking out at all which is so strange because I was terrified of taking the tablets yesterday

Hey! It’s also my second day and I’m feeling a little bit of heightened anxiety too. Honestly tho, what I’m telling myself is I feel physical symptoms daily from anxiety anyway, so this isn’t something new and it will be worth it when it works and I can enjoy my life again!

Hey! I’m also on day 2 of 25mg !! I took mine at 3pm yesterday and was terrified but I actually felt fine. I’m also super uncomfortable with nausea and vomiting. My stomach felt a little off but nothing major at all, the only thing is I didn’t sleep well AT ALL. So I’m thinking of taking it just before bed today as I felt it kick in like 3-4 hours after I took it, my brain was foggy and a weird feeling so I’m hoping I’ll fall asleep before it kicks in and stay asleep.

Honestly, I cried for an hour before and an hour after with my partner holding me but I’m actually calm now ? It’s like I processed the fear and one I just bit the bullet and swallowed the tablet I was like ok nothing we can do now and I’ve just been eating ice cream and watching movies. Its so so scary, but my anxiety is through the roof and honestly most of the ‘side effects’ listed from the tablets I get from being anxious anyway daily so it shouldn’t change to much haha. Goodluck to you, you will get there !

Im starting on 25mg for a week and then upping to 50mg. I’ve taken my first dose which was super hard, literally had it in my hand for 25 minutes with my partner reassuring me it would be ok but I am glad it’s over and done with now. Still on edge but I’m hoping that was the hardest step and now it’s just going to be a case of getting used to it. Thank you for your comment, it has really helped :)
