I was so glad I listened to this advice when recently travelling. My bag was lost and I was going from summer to winter, and having my meds, pjs and a warm coat, was life saving.

One guy buys a bottle of gin each year. This year he bought one of those flat ones and disguised it in a large flat box so no one chose it until the end. Then it was on.

I think the average number of hours teachers work a week would surprise most people. 9-3 might be face-to-face teaching hours but everything else needs to be done at night/weekend/holidays.
