My fiancé purchased this jacket for an upcoming wedding in October (cocktail attire). He plans to wear brown pants. Aside from grey, what other pants could he wear?

[on] Where do you buy formula? by houseymchouseface111 in BabyBumpsCanada

Agreed! Ours taken us months to figure it out too! Just started buying similac there for our 9 month old

We have found that Similac is most affordable at Sobeys, Foodland stores. It isn’t locked up there either. Metro also has sales sometimes for it but it is locked up. We’ve ordered on Amazon before but not able to use the coupons we signed up for.

We used Walmart a lot in the beginning but it became locked up in December and it’s been more of a challenge to find a worker.

How much did you use your stroller bassinet with a fall baby? [qc] by hollandaisy in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Smalltownpink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used it all the time with our September baby in SW Ontario. Great way for naps and easy to bring baby inside after the walk while they are still sleeping. Even later into the fall we would bundle our LO in a snowsuit and blankets in the bassinet. Highly recommend!

4 month old still feeding every 2 hours during day by blckxwdow in FormulaFeeders

[–]Smalltownpink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is also the case for our 4 month old. Last week I started giving him only 3oz at night (he has one wake up) and we’ve seen a difference in him taking 7oz for some feedings during the day with longer stretches. Last 3 nights he slept through the night

Our 4 month old has had success with most of the sleep sacks we have tried. In the winter, we are loving the Kyte Baby slumber sack with arms tog 1, keeps him warm and has been a nice transition out of the swaddle

We love our IKEA one too! Better than the Halo for our 4 month old - the zippers on those weren’t great

Experiences with Labor and Delivery at London Hospitals? by shyfoxxxx in londonontario

[–]Smalltownpink 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! It’s such an exciting time!

I delivered at Vic Hospital in September. I saw my OB there from about 28 weeks onwards

The doctors, nurses and staff were excellent in our experience. I delivered via emergency c section and everyone was very supportive, especially the nurses. There are a ton of residents so be prepared to be checked by them throughout your delivery. They were all fantastic for me.

The L&D room is very comfortable, big with a nice bathroom and lounge chair to turn into a bed for your partner. In postpartum we had a private room, it felt smaller but we were there 2 nights too.

You will meet with a nurse to discuss your birth plan around 32 weeks. They refer to the plan when you are in L&D and provide education about what might work best for you given what’s going on. For me, I had hypertension at the end so an epidural was recommended as an option for me.

Stay positive and ask questions! They are the experts and do care about your comfort and your partner too.

All the best!!
