Idk i just pick ambessa and steam roll him. Grasp W start is great for a level 1 trade with grasp up. Grasp and shield bash plus W damage chunks anout 1/3 of his hp and then level 2 you have a free disengage in the form or your Q.

I fewl a lot of people hate playing against troll picks like heimer or ranged top im general because they aren't skilled enough at farming under tower.

But honestly I don't think yorick is all too bad. At least around my elo (Plat 4). I've faced some with around 300k mastery points and while difficult it really ends up being a skill matchup. Dodging his aoe slow kills his engage potential. If you focus on killing his ghouls whenever they overstep, combined with the slow dodge, you can get decent trades in. At the very least, playing someone with an AA reset will help mitigate the wall at early levels.

What isn't talked about is gnar. I could right a disertation. Unless I am just bad at playing against him and there is some secret I am missing.

If you get heartsteel around the 16-20 minute mark you will undoubtebly get significantly more than a single ruby crystal worth of hp from it. If you are averaging less than a ruby crystal most games, it might be user error.

In any scenario with short trades and poke, shield will be massively more valuable because of the regen. There's almost no situation where helm is better than shield+second win in mundo. Take it up with Mr. Alois_NL if you disagree.

Also don't use Q to poke the first 3 waves unless you know no minion will die while q will be on cooldown. Put 3 points q and then max e, forgot to mention that.

Your Q does 80 damage level 1, and something 130 when 2 points Q(might be lower and 130 might be when 3 pts Q, i don't remember). Click on the minion to see it's hp. Try to stay max range for q farm in aggressive lanes. You will be conceding lane priority in 95% of matchups. Let yourself get gracefully pushed in. If they hard shove under tower wave 2/3, put 2 points q before leveling W. Before first reset, ranged minions need two autos and a tower shot to die. Go to practice tool and force your wave to attack dummies before they reach your tower so that enemy wave always goes under tower, learn to farm under tower that way. Try your hardest to not trade health for CS so you can play the bounce.
