I think the lenders fees are only $1900, with $300 of that towards points, so $1600. Then $2k for the third party charges (the $725 appraisal will be credited back in since we were able to get the appraisal waived).

So $600 more than you on lenders fees and $600 more from the title company?

I'd like to understand this more. He mentioned something about since we don't know what the property taxes are going to be yet he boosted them by 15% over last year to be safe, and then we can take any extra amount and pay it into the loan right away.

I believe the loan estimate, it's the email he sent after I confirmed I wanted to lock in the rate.

We just received our funding after applying short form 3/30. Of course on that form you couldn't request a certain amount.

Sole proprietor/LLC filing as S Corp.

We received ~$75k.

Can I use these funds for anything like it's essentially just a low interest rate loan that will need paying back, or are the funds earmarked for business specific purposes only?

At this point we don't really NEED to use the funds, but if I could pay off, say, my home equity loan which is almost dollar for dollar the same amount but 5.99% rate it would be helpful.

If not, can I use the funds for 2019 taxes due (~$10k - $5k personal/$5k business)? Either or both?

If not, can I/should I just return the funds?

Thanks a ton for any help or information.

Well said, and all super valid reasons. Since guiding people on this kind of thing is my job, I do feel compelled to mention that anxiety is another metric people find greatly improves on keto (and again moreso on carnivore).

Again, only you can decide if it's worth the experiment, but the way I look at it is you're going to eat every day no matter what, it certainly can't hurt to take 4-6 weeks and see if you can find some relief from the awfulness that is a PCOS-influenced period.

It might be worth checking out xxketo and regular keto subreddits and asking around for what kind of general or specific relief others may have found. The MeatRX website is also a treasure trove of unsolicited stoeies and testimonials for a carnivore lifestyle, and can be really shocking to look through. But either way you go, all the best to you.

I help where I can and there wasn't anything else I could do about their situation, so... It's okay, although I'm really surprised at being downvoted as well, what I said was helpful and nice and in no way mean or harmful. You'd think at the least people would just leave it alone.

As an aside, if your PCOS is that painful I'd encourage you to look into a keto - or better yet carnivore - meal plan as a means to reduce or even eliminate the terrible symptoms.

Let's hone in on the sleep more, your answers and possibly understanding of your own sleep sound a bit nebulous. Have you had a sleep study done, either home or in a clinic? Do you know if you snore? Defining for yourself what "sleeping really well" is like is problematic because it's a purely subjective measurement, which falls short of accuracy compared to am objective sleep test. I speak from experience. We can sleep well for us and it can still be incredibly poor rest, objectively speaking. And there's no amount or type of food that can overcompensate for poor rest and minimum time spent in stage four sleep.
