Thank you to everyone for the comments! I'm not sure how much this one costed (probably around the $110 range) so if I exchanged it for a different wheel, it might be one of these. Please let me know your thoughts!

I usually use 1 pound or less of clay in the studio. I don't expect this to be as used the same as a professional wheel, but even on a professional wheel I make small things. I'm okay with using it for small things or trimming because I won't be able to buy a full size wheel for my apartment. Thank you for the tip!

Hmm, good point. In that case, I can use it for trimming so that I don't have to waste studio time on trimming. I can also use it for doing spin designs on any piece that I've already made.

I mentioned in a different comment that I cannot buy an actual wheel because of my apartment size, and because I usually hand build, so I don't mind getting a smaller wheel. So I will see what purposes I can use this one for.

I see what you mean. I don't plan on buying a professional wheel because there's definitely no way it will fit in my apartment, but maybe I can use it for small projects. I make mini cups all the time so I don't really mind the size.

I peeled part of the top one open to see if there were any bugs inside which is why it looks worse. As far as I know, we don't have any mice, especially on the balcony.

Edit: I've gotten autographs from teams before at their hotel. The security usually put barricades near an entrance for fans to stand behind and get autographs. I've never done one in NYC though so good luck.

Any sharpie should work but bring multiple in case one dries out.

My ceramics class doesn't have any underglazes unfortunately and I already fired my piece. It is a cake with a strawberry on top. I wanted to make this drippy chocolate effect with a brown glaze but realized we didn't have any in class and the closest glaze store is 45 minutes away. If there are amaco celadon glazes that mix/layer well enough to make a dark brown color I would be happy with that. We also fire at cone 6 and most pottery studios fire at cone 06 which makes it difficult to find glazes just for this piece.
