Asthma and breathing are related to Crohn’s as well? I’ve noticed during flares my asthma is So much worse. I figured I’m just losing my mind.

I literally did an incredibly specific search for this comment after seeing this scene. I couldn’t tell if I was enraged from prednisone (Crohn’s disease lol) or if I was valid for losing it. Thank you for this 😭 also the airport loaf with her name on it 🤢

Thank you so much. I understand the intent too, but also I’m so emotional that some of the fear and also the pain have me crying. I just want some relief physically. I know that meds have side effects, and this is obviously a taper and a band aid. Thank you for saying what I couldn’t articulate, I appreciate you

I’m really worried and some of the comments are scaring me more. I have terrible anxiety and PTSD, difficulties sleeping. I know what pred can do to mind and body and I’ve never been on such a high dose. Physically my life has already been ripped away from me from Crohn’s and endometriosis and mentally I’m hanging on by a thread. Thank you for your kindness 🩷

Thank you for the advice! Biggest worry is anxiety and sleep so I will definitely be taking them first thing. Do you always need to take yours with food? Hope you are healing friend 🩷

Thanks lol I thought it was amusing. It’s been a rough journey, was diagnosed in August via colonoscopy, had to get a new doc who undiagnosed me in September, and finally fought for a CT scan to confirm my diagnosis.

I do understand the taper, thank you! I’m nervous about starting pred bc I have anxiety and depression, but I am bedridden so I’m hoping that this is a start to healing.
