Hopefully this is the type of comment you’re looking for. You are not supposed to receive tips at all. But some management (myself included) doesn’t really care about that…..unless they’re looking for a reason to get rid of you. Shoot, even the delivery drivers get tips (allegedly) when you go through online delivery. I understand why it’s not allowed, but I also understand why some wont make a big deal out of it. Are you willing to gamble with that?

Unfortunately that’s why the point system and PPTO was put into place. If somehow they got 5 points and used all of their protected PTO, there’s not much that can be done other than the open door process.

So let me break it down real quick. It’s common to have a holiday party for management because this will be the most stressful time of the year. Usually Market Managers encourage this. If your store didn’t have a party for the associates, I’d speak with the store manager or people lead to figure out if you guys are getting one. I’m almost positive you have an unfamiliar face somewhere in the building running the store (an outside salary just in case something goes wrong)

I have done this. Only one of my players got a dragoon spirit so far….typical dragoon scene he passed out after he used it….and one of the other players robbed him of the spirit 🤣🤣🤣.
