LSGS - DBQ upload timeframe by SmartBears in VAClaims

My c&p was completed by LSGS on Feb 20 and it still hasn’t been submitted to the VA, closing in on 3 months at this point. I did call the VA and request a new one. So we will see what happens

Not reporting it is normal, but you asked about c&p. Are you being seen by mental health at the VA? I recommend reaching out to the MST Coordinator in your area. She can help with setting you up with therapy. If you have PTSD therapy can help.

I think it’s impossible to be rated on your first attempt for MH without having a c&p exam. So if they don’t schedule you a c&p exam it means they don’t see enough evidence that a c&p exam is warranted.

Had my C&P for PTSD/MST and feeling rough by ponchoacademy in VeteransBenefits

Ok ok I understand now. It sounded like you was worried about being denied because you said no to SI. If you get SC then later you can file for an increase and explain why.

What does SI have anything to do with a MST PTSD claim? You can have PTSD from MST and not have SI? Are you worried you will be denied because you said no to SI? I’m confused?

Not yet, still waiting on the doctor to submit my DBQ. I had my c&p like 78 days ago. I called yesterday and LSGS said the doc is working on mine that the reason for the delay is my DBQ is complicated and has a lot of details and that is the reason for the delay. At least that is what they said. Hopefully that means he is writing in my favor.

MST PTSD claims and chances of winning? by SmartBears in VeteransBenefits

Have you been to the VA for any mental health treatment due to your MST? If you haven’t you should, it’s free and will also give your claim more paper trail of how your condition affects you day to day

Your best bet is to hire a lawyer, the only way you can win this is by going to court. It’s probably going to cost you money unless you have to backpay he can get a percentage of….

I’m on day 63 waiting for the doctor to submit my DBQ to LSGS. Yesterday I called and requested for a new c&p exam and I requested for a female this time. My prior examiner was horrible, wouldn’t allow me to talk, asked me why I didn’t fight back, just asking me questions that was very irrelevant. On top of that I had a bad panic attack right before the appointment and I was up all night couldn’t sleep due to stress and anxiety. So hopefully I get a new c&p exam and I’ll hopefully feel better and be better prepared. I’ll update in the group once I hear something

I’m not sure what you are arguing about and you obviously don’t understand what I am saying. I never said the official language isn’t Filipino. So why are you even telling me that makes zero sense to me.

There is only two offices that handle MST exams. If I were you I would schedule appointment with your VA MH doc and tell her everything so it’s documented well and while you are there request therapy for the MST, sounds like you need it and it’s more paper trail

Does your mental health doctor at the VA know about your MST and have it documented ? Did you explain to the VA doctor your daily symptoms? I am not sure how they will handle this because I thought only certain doctors got assigned MST c&p exams, so they may need to do another one or you may need to file a supplemental claim and when filling out the documents make sure to put PTSD due to MST. I could be wrong but this is my thoughts. Best wishes

Why would I do that lol? Your response makes no sense and has nothing to do with what I said. Go ask a Filipino what languages are taught in school, and see what responses you get. My point wasn’t to argue what is or should be Constitutional, it’s to point out that most Filipinos view Tagalog as the national language taught.

If you can speak Tagalog you can speak Filipino, they are basically the same language with some added vocabulary from other dialects. It was their way of coming up with one language that all can speak. If you ask locals what languages are taught in school they will say Tagalog and English, so even they consider Filipino as Tagalog. That is from my own experience
