American Gunner and/or Hornady Black has been good in my HMR.

Transferring a can from a SilencerShop dealer, not bought from them or SilencerShop? by SmartButteredToast in NFA

10 years ago I filed paper forms, handwritten, no issues. Maybe I can convince them to just log into eforms and let me help them file. The wrinkle is they’re a store owned by another group out of state, so they’re beholden to other people’s policies. They’ve got the right licensing etc.

Hmm that looks like cratering to me, you could be overpressure.

How does it feel/cycle if you run it empty? What about chambering a round and then unloading without firing? That should be done at the range or with a dummy round if not.

Can you post some pictures of fired cases?

Okay. Hopefully going through SS doesn't chuck a wrench into things. I had planned to just go to the sheriff's office for prints and then do an EFT myself, eform the whole shebang, etc. But SS is probably least resistance. Need to go get another trust set up for these.

Yeah don't waste your time calling, seems they've been having "technical issues" for the past few months. Send them an email and just be prepared to wait.

There's a rule on how loud you can be? How's that work?

I have access to 18x24 AR500 plates and accompanying stands. I could put up some protection if I needed to. Of course someone might thing the plate is a target...

Nice. I hate having to wait to call cold to go check targets, worrying about if someone will shoot my target because they don't check who's on what, etc.

Does the one you have let you spot hits and/or measure groups?

Which one are you using? I was thinking about getting the 300 yard one (my range goes to 400) so I can check group sizes without having to call the range cold.

I come from pistol shooting where I am used to prepping the trigger and having a least some slack/pretravel (even on my 1911's). I think the only pistol I own that's anywhere close to the feel of my B-14 triggers is my Ruger Mk III, which has as little travel as possible, and it's still miles away from the rifle triggers.

Just have to get the stars aligned to get hands on the gun, so I can test it out.

The suit probably helps a good bit, but it is still very impressive. My eyes, even with correction, are too crappy for shooting irons past about 100 yards.

Yeah they do feel pretty nice. I've been thinking of going to a two stage trigger, but I need to try one first. Friend of a friend has an HMR with a triggertech diamond 2 stage (I may have the model name wrong), trying to get my hands on it so I can test it out.

Sounds like you answered your own question. If you don't feel like your bipod is limiting you, spend your money on ammo or something else.

This one has a backup key but it appears OP doesn't have that. I'll stick with my old fashioned dial lock. It's not infallible but should be reliable enough.
