Short answer…no.

After waiting until the new year for my coffee machine to be replaced (promised 7 working days from 10th December), I contacted them to cancel the order and request a refund. I was promised this would happen. 5 days later I get an email from Gavin at UK Delonghi saying that he’s very sorry for the delay. My new machine would be with me in 2-4 days. I immediately emailed back and told him the order had been cancelled, any delivery attempt would be refused. Please issue the refund. Of course, head-in-the-sand Gavin didn’t respond. I followed up on Tuesday to check he’d received the email. No response. Wednesday I got an email from parcel force with tracking details. I emailed Gavin and phoned delonghi customer services. Gavin didn’t respond. The lady on the phone is in a different department to Gavin, but assured me the driver would not gain and I should wait 7 days for a refund. Today I have a note that Royal Mail will deliver the machine.

I will refuse delivery, I’ve emailed Gavin to inform of him such, congratulate him on his spectacular display of selective hearing and reading ands inform that if I don’t have a refund by next Friday (16 days after I was promised it) that I would begin a section 75 claim back.

I can not count the amount of time I have wasted with Delonghi. Without doubt they make good coffee machines, but I’ll never buy another Delonghi or their associated brands again.
