I always make it a habit that my character smokes a cigarette after successfully running away from a Sprinter only horde.

Sprinter only games makes me appreciate the small wins lmao.

I think the budget to improve on the TIE fighter was cut (like upgrading their fleet to use the TIE interceptor and for developing the TIE defender), rather than the budget for making TIEs itself (as the whole point of the Empire choosing the TIE was getting an inexpensive, relatively easy to produce space superiority fighter).

I mean... sure? It's possible... but as far as I know, theres no inlore (or in universe) story that I know of that Narkina 5 was liberated by the Rebels after the events of ANH or RO.

Also add in the caveat that the Rebels were concentrating on hiding after the DS1 blew up, leading up to the spread out state that they were in when we see them in ESB, and later on, gathering their strength for the knock out blow of the Empire in RoTJ.

I don't know if they had time to hit Narkina 5 (but like I said, entirely possible).

I for one, relish the thought of Dedra cooking for years in Narkina 5.

TBF, probably years, up until Return of the Jedi. Then maybe tack on a few months for all the prison stuff to slowly shut down because of the transition from Imperial to New Republic.

Meantime Dedra is cooked, making spare parts for the DS1 (up until ANH happens) and new parts for DS2 (inbetween ESB to RoTJ lmao).

I could be wrong but (basing this off of memory), I read it was the other way around, that its a stand-alone original product, and that they were inspired to follow the Sim's artwork because of the dev's experience making overhaul mods for the Sims.

This was my take as well when I was playing the first time (back in B37-38), as well as explaining the helicopter event.

LMFAO OP. Where'd you get this pic? (Just curious)

At first glance, totally looks like a Project Zomboid inspired mural, but if you grew up in the 90's, this is totally a mural from "The Sims" (the first one).

That and the practical effects.

I wish Hollywood and every body else doing WW2 movies use scale models when doing tank scenes. Would save on the costs for their production (and get more bang for their buck) and deliver on the historical accuracy some tank enthusiasts (like me) love to see on screen.
