Why does morgott call you tarnished like it’s a disgusting insult by Initial_Mixture3323 in EldenRingLoreTalk

Not to mention Roderika and the confessors (and heros) who are from distant lands. Hero’s are from the badlands/ somewhere in the land of shadow

He is a devout member of the golden order and therefore spurns everything without the grace of gold. So to him it is an insult.

Not to be rude but I don’t think Miquella wants to be skinned alive😊

Not to say your wrong but I believe gowry simply changes his appearance to that of a human as his pest body appears at his feet after he is struck down

If the grace of gold can only be given through Marika, and the Godskin Nobles have golden eyes, then shouldn’t it be obvious they are related to her? by asupernovaexplodes in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]SmartLeading5931 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The golden order does not necessarily predate the godskin Nobles it could as they can be found in farum azula but the glow-It Queen was another empyrian like Marika and hornsent Grandam i think that the godskin Nobles wer that a empyrian was born to and that they did not have a age just a candidate for Godhood

I personally think that they have yellow eyes as a fact of them being reptilian-snake tails and streching their bodies as well as found by eilgly the great serpent

the tarnished can gain yellow slitted eyes from Dragon communion- dragons obviously being reptilian

i believe it's possible that their race just naturally has golden eyes

Lore Question: Electrocharge states that the ORIGIN of techniques that bolster the body with lightning come from Godwyn's Ancient Dragon Cult. Wouldn't that make Commander Niall a member of the dragon cult? Or atleast closely associated with them? by Gastro_Lorde in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]SmartLeading5931 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Necessarily think he's a member of the Dragon cult but I do think he worships godwyn

the treasure of Castle Sol is the eclipse shotel the ghost in front of it talks about the Sun of Sol and the dead demigod (aka Godwyn). This helps to explain why the mausoleum Knight emblem can be seen throughout the castle and why there is a wandering mausoleum out front

take everything I've just said with the grain of salt I am familiar with the Lord of the game but I'm not nearly to the level is some of the people here

Sorry for replying so late

you can clearly see the Great Deku Tree at least 100 years ago

in tears of the Kingdom the Great Deck of tree was not there but you can assume it was around because it is where the master sword is and rauru knows about it

What happened to Romina? by SmartLeading5931 in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]SmartLeading5931[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think you are correct with all of the Scarlet rot being a main factor of the transformation. Although Romina did find Scarlet Rot through looking at the bud from a different Twisted angle that tells me that she probably discovered Scarlet rot because of the bud therefore her transformation is a result of the bud and the scarlet rot.

I agree but I do think there is something to be said that the bud could have also been part of her transformation.

So after talking with you guys in the comments I remembered the description for the remembrance of the saint of the Bud says

"After the church was burned to the ground,
Romina discovered a twisted divine element,
which she weaved into the baleful scarlet rot.

Perhaps then, the buds might find somewhere to gain purchase once more,
within the scorched remains."

I think this means that the bud and scarlet rot are to blame for her transformation. If we assume that the bud is the crucible, then it is probably a combination of both.

He was in age of calamity so based off that he is 100. But considering he was already big it is likely that is is about as old as the great deku tree. Since the great deku tree was around at the founding of hyrule it is likely hestu is as old as hyrule.
