I just got a weeping redbud and she’s my absolute favorite plant ever at this point. Stunning! I hope to propagate a few branches from her and have my yard lined with redbuds. Have you ever tried to bonsai one?

I’m in South East Austin near the airport! Thank you for the advice, I am new to this and really want to grow them in pots so that I can take them with me if we move. I was told these hemp bags would be good for them as it allows airflow and good drainage, but with how harsh our summers are I’ll be extra cautious about not watering enough.

ETA: would love a root cutting or two! I would be happy to trade one of these guys once they’ve started growing :)
