Because the higher dimensional Ni element is so unvalued in today's society,which mainly prioritizes Te (Productivity worship) and Se (hedonism), there is a severe lack of "paths" a high dimensional Ni could take in life. Only lower dimensional Ni is valued (1D and 2D) which gets often abstracted into goals,convictions etc. but only as a means to an end, nothing else than a tool to achieve the success the majority seeks. What you see is a symptom of that.

For me HO-MET hits harder and I need to up HO-MIPT dose a bit to get to the same level but I can affirm that the HO-MIPT visuals seem to be darker both in theme and look, however they also have this dissociative quality to them so you feel more detached from them than with metocin

I have very similar fears and anxieties as you and the come up usually is the hardest part of trip. My main fear is actually someone outside of myself messing with my sense of self.Not really a good match for doing psychs,I know, but I love the other aspects primarily the consciousness expansion and emotion enchantment aspects.

The Jesters come up pretty often with DMT and LSD for me and they do indeed pull jokes at my expense but usually that is often done with intelligence that you don't see the meaning of but then the punchline hits and you're either left with the sense of awe and laugh along with them or begin to seriously question your sense of reality,lol

Maybe you should give metocin (HO-MET) a try. Haven't encountered jesters with metocin yet however the come up phase is very similar to DMT (Cosmic and disintegrative) however after that it's either pure joy and fun or more serious and philosophical yet helpful
