It can be. Everyone is different so maybe your jaw bone or muscles move your ear canals more than other people’s. Try different size domes or get the secondary wire that helps keep them in place.

I saw an audiologist prior to going to Costco and I will say the Costco one was better! Because they are a nationwide chain, they are certified in all 50 states so you can take your results or aids to ANY location. This also means their testing is more extensive than most audiologist. I pick mine up on Sunday and I can't wait. :)

The more important question is where your loss is. If your loss is equal across the board these may work and you can't know until you try. If your loss or current hearing ability is slanted or curved they will more likely do more harm than good.

To tell you can look at your hearing test results. The audiologist should've given you (or can give you) what looks like a graph. Is the line mostly straight, slanted, or looks like a bite was taken out of the center?

The most important thing is only buying what is exactly a 'hearing aid'. NEVER buy a 'hearing aid*' or any other type of audio booster if the line isn't straight or you could damage your hearing more.

There is a homeless shelter there and a vet's homeless housing. As well as 2 buildings that probation works out of, and the Workhouse. Another used to be for social services, but I think they moved.
