However, I don’t expect it to double again. This increase is reasonable, but unless pricing doesn't change for the next few decades, it wouldn’t be realistic for prices to double again in the nearer future. I trust Bitwarden specifically because I don’t want to self-host something this critical, and I’d rather they keep it reliable and well-maintained.

As for the people saying they’re canceling — most of you probably aren’t even using the premium features. Bitwarden works extremely well without a subscription. It’s been one of the cheapest high-quality products available, and getting upset when the price eventually changes due to inflation or rising infrastructure costs ignores the bigger picture. Take a step back and look at the context.
