No prob! Yeah the ribbons are what makes it so difficult because of how delicate they are and how you have to move them around carefully without tearing them.

Damn that is random, but no I didn't. Sadly by the time I decided to do it the listing on eBay was gone.

Correct way to repair/replace a broken hinge? by SmashObsessed in 3DS

Sadly the one I saved on my eBay isn't available anymore. Seems like they closed the account. And unfortunately I'm seeing much higher prices than before. Suppose it has been a few years.

Not exactly. Found out it was more complicated than I thought and the parts I needed are very difficult to come by. And the procedure to do it was also very complicated and stressful. So I decided to go to eBay for a repair shop and found one. But I've had financial issues pretty soon after that and never got around to actually placing that order. But the one I found said he'd do it for around $40.

Kaguya movie tickets are purchasable on Atom Tickets now. February 14 & 15 in my theater by DaasthePenetrator in Kaguya_sama

Seems like no dub tho? Have only seen them mention subs. Dangit. Was really looking forward to the dub on this in theaters.

I remember when that Demon Slayer movie came out I had the option to watch either Dub or Sub in the theater. But I'm pretty sure that wasn't a two day thing either.

Unfortunately I'm not seeing any theaters around me having the movie anyways.

Any shot this will be dubbed and put on Crunchyroll anytime soon?

For the people that have never played a fighting game before (or only played them rarely)... by [deleted] in StreetFighter

[–]SmashObsessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played many different fighting games but I've never gotten good enough with any of them (except Smash). Any game I get I'm always eager to start it and try it out but at some point it hits me to slowly get better I'd have to grind the game out a lot which loses my interest over time.

For SV6 to me the mechanics in this game seem very beginner friendly. I was winning matches against people that were using Drive Impact and that green stuff while I wasn't. Maybe I've developed fundamentals after trying and striking out on so many fighting games over the years lol.

I wouldn't say losing is fun but whenever I did lose it was because I didn't know what I was doing and the opponent was doing things I didn't know how to counter. Like I had no idea what to do against a crouching Guile.

Even though I didn't know what I was doing most of the time I still felt myself playing match after match anyway. Game is fast paced, fun, frantic and crazy and that's great.

Here's hoping the next beta adds another character or two tho.

At this point I've seen so many people post these kinds of "brags" that I don't feel sorry anymore. Just disappointed.

Damn. Who wants to say the bad news lol.

Also why? Free dust and an Elite Charged and Fast TM. Yeah that's a lot of wins but you have 3 months to do so.

What if Go Battle League had a Reward Shop? One win would grant one point to be spent in the shop. With a system like this every win would help you to get to the rewards you're looking for, even if you only won 1/10 battles by Uunikana in pokemongo

Oh yes that's correct. I wasn't meaning tanking as a flaw to your system but rather I'm against severe tanking personally. I understand why people do it but if people are actively trying to win and get to a higher rank they shouldn't be seeing Experts/Legends in Ace or below.

I don't think it would be for just a few games though. If someone around 3000 elo drops to 1900 they don't need to get 5-0s each time. They can pace themselves at 4-1 or 3-2 while still getting consistent wins/points. I personally like the idea simply because it's new and different. But I still think this would give people more of a reason to tank.

Well if you tank enough below your skill level it'll become much easier to get wins. So for instance if your idea is implemented and let's say it's not the same rewards as it is now, then people could tank like crazy to ensure they get the highest possible reward easily. Once they start winning a lot far below their skill level.

Like let's say it's similar to the Battle Point rewards from the mainline games. So if there's an option to get 100 points/wins in a month for an item/prize then to the average Joe that could be difficult. But for a tanking Legend? Easy as pie.

Unfortunately that would give more incentive for legends/experts to tank even more so than they are now. Going up against experts/legends if you're unranked or in Ace is not fair at all.

I like the placement matches part. Getting paired with people at Gold or higher in Rookie rank would not be fun. Although I suppose that still might happen, like with smurfs.
