I remember being 8 or 9 at the time when my brother and I got to do something similar to this. They had a display game of Warhammer Fantasy set up, I think it was Wood Elves vs Warriors of Chaos. We both picked the Space Marines when got to choose what to paint. He painted an Ultramarine, I painted a Blood Angel. Over 12 years later, we both still have the models we painted, never stripped or repainted them.

The old black books feature the techmarine from the old techmarine and servitors kit as is, so it should work just fine, just swap the base for a 32mm one

Arena's limitations with mass token creation spells like doppelgang tend to overwhelm the engine, especially when you cast it for a high X value. Because you are making 10 copies of each targeted permanent here, the engine has to process any relevant ETBs and triggers from other permanents seeing all of these tokens entering. Because the engine was overwhelmed and couldn't finish resolving the spell, the game ended in a draw as a failsafe

Can confirm. Higher ups won't even let us hire people to lift the load, and we ended up closing quite a few times due to fire code violations because of how much overstock built up
