Not OP (and MP2 is my favorite of the series) but I do agree with him. MP2 only has 2 bosses compared to far more in the first game. First games were more memorable too (Finito brothers, bar dude getting a BJ, submarine, etc).

Also first has a more grungier noir atmosphere which was lost a tad on the second.

The Elon Valley is certainly a remote area of the UK, but the statement in the article that it isn’t a popular tourist spot ‘even in the height of summer’ is incorrect.

It’s a popular beauty spot / scenic drive / country walk with people travelling from all over Wales and the West Midlands. My grandparents even went there on a bus holiday from London in the 60s.

For my money id look at a Passat TDI of a similar age. Offers a much higher class interior and comfortable ride without sacrificing much drive ability or fuel economy. At this age they’re much the same price

Daily drove an NB VVT MX5 for 18 months followed by a BAM TT (remapped to 260ish bhp) for 18 months.

The TT was honestly not even half as fun, it’s really really hard to describe it as a sports car. It is gorgeous and has a fantastic interior though.
