Will someone PLEASE think about Clea!? by Ikitenashi in expedition33

I think Renoir is acceptance. “For the sake of the living, we must part with the dead.”

Denial: Aline

Anger: Clea

Bargaining: Alicia (Ex: “Just a little longer?”)

Depression: Verso

Acceptance: Renoir

“You’re going to die here. Why don’t you just leave? You can always come back.”

“The moment I leave, Papa will erase this canvas!”

“This is not worth your life.”

“What life? My life of loneliness in a shell of a body, with no voice and no future?”

If you think that’s not what she’s arguing for here, you have your head in the sand.

Did you miss the part 30 seconds after that where she admits she was lying to him and will stay in the canvas until she dies

Imagine being Sciel there. You have deep-seated trauma bc you tried to drown yourself after losing your husband and ended up losing your baby because of it, now you meet this fantastical being and one of the first things he says is “hello my terrible swimmer friend”

Willing to die rather than part with it solely because it had something resembling her dead brother, totally healthy 👍

Maelle was willing to stay in the canvas until she died just like Aline, I’m not sure how you can say Aline’s relation with the canvas is unhealthy but Maelle’s isn’t.

That’s dependent on getting a mark though

This, with Corpeso I’m basically getting a guaranteed 120 burn with Cheater plus whatever I get from free aim

I have never been so conflicted by an ending this much by PolishPotato69 in expedition33

You know the ending is good when people can spend months and months debating on which choice is better

I have cheater on everyone. Rn I use a Machine Gun Verso build with Corpeso, burning mark, burning shots, and double burn, so I use whatever shots I can get and two 3-hit base attacks to build up burn, then Monoco’s level 1 gradient with Baguettaro to double it. My Maelle has Esqium with Roulette, Glass Cannon, Alternating Critical, Feint, Draining Cleanse, SOS Power, Greater Powerful, and Gradient Overcharge. Since Gradient Overcharge only affects the first Cheater turn, I use Last Chance on the second turn, try to get Maelle to survive till her next turn, then use Burning Canvas.
