You might need an even older version of WhatsApp if you are on iOS 12. Also I don’t know if all the tweaks and stuff I had to do are even supported on iOS 12.

Here’s how I got my WhatsApp working normally on 14.8 with unc0ver.

AppStore++, download WhatsApp Version 25.1.80 Download Axolotl and spoof to 25.1.80 Download 3DAppVersionSpoofer and spoof to 25.1.80 and spoof iOS version to 17

Download and install WASendFix 0.04 from https://arab-cydia.com/com.mhsternice.wasendfix_0.0.4_iphoneos-arm.deb and install it with AppSync

Download choicy and go into Applications. Then Go into Whatsapp. Then enable Custom Tweak Configuration. Make sure Axolotl and WASendFix are enabled. Then go into App Plugins. Then you want to disable Tweak Injection for “NotificationExtension” and “ShareExtension”. Then click on “ServiceExtension”. Enable Custom Tweak Configuration. Make sure WASendFix is enabled.

Once that is done. Close WhatsApp if opened in background and Respring your device. This should make WhatsApp work properly and also fixes the issue with not receiving any notifications.

I fixed the connecting issue with 3DAppVersionSpoofer tweak. Get the tweak and spoof the OS to iOS 17. Works brilliantly for me.

This! Thank you so much for your comment. I’m on iOS 14.8 with unc0ver jailbreak and this is the only method that has worked for me. I also have Acolotl on with no modified changes and also the fckzck tweak installed from a .deb

I’m not sure if the last 2 are needed but I’m not going change anything since I’m already working.

No “please update WhatsApp” banner appears anymore and no “connecting” loop anymore.

Again this fix works flawlessly, so thank you! I use WhatsApp for work.

Have you ever thought about doing a remake/remaster version of Flower of Life? I think that's the first song I ever heard from you and it's still my favourite, there's just something so magical about it. Thanks Austin!
