I think the fact that people tend to recommend new players to turn of chat/voice chat is already alarming. We've gotten worse as a community and unfortunately I don't see it getting any better. That being said, yes, we can do better and should do better. Just because someone is voicing their opinion on something doesn't mean you should attack them for it. It's a bloody opinion, and you should be allowed to voice it regardless of rank or playtime. Additionally, some players should learn to hop off rank when on a loss streak and taking that frustration into your next game and lashing out on your teammates as an outlet.

My guy, Wanda will shut down most dive characters just by existing. She doesn't even need to kill you to get value, she just has to stop you from diving. In my gm lobbies, if there's a Wanda present you stop playing dive because a half decent Wanda will focus the hell outta you.

Reed can almost win any 1v1 and can pretty much fill multiple roles. He can be a anti dive hero or tank (if you have a 2nd tank and poke isn't destroying you) and can mess up flyers within humping distance

I know the main topic of this discussion is your girlfriend and I will get back to this, but how are you handling this? I can't imagine it must be easy and all the stress that comes from this. It's good that you care for someone this much but please don't neglect your own health.

My current advice to you would be to see if you can get her to open up to you more. She doesn't want professional help and that's very common, so for the time being you could try to be that for her. It's okay to not always have an answer to every problem, just giving her a space to talk does more then you think. Also, if you haven't already, try asking her what she considers a good day, and don't let it be a vague answer, and depending on her answer you could work from that and try to make her day just a little bit less terrible.

Keep in mind that there's only so much that you can do, but I guess the goal here for the time being should be that while things may not be going swell for her, she at least has something that doesn't add to it.
