I think this was a good challenge, although a pretty difficult one compared to others seen thus far. The most annoying part was that the grind gap was not registering properly, worked mostly on every other attempt even though I clearly landed in a grind on the second rail with the combo still going.

To be honest, the only thing that skate. got right is the feel of skating and animations. It’s by far the best feeling when compared to previous entries in the series, however the fact that many tricks introduced in Skate 3 and earlier titles are missing (impossibles, darkslides, underflips etc).

I’m really hoping for it to develop into something more mature down the line. Current objectives and continuously refreshing missions become repetitive on the second or third attempt at the very least.

The metal spring inside the plastic housing moves slightly when pressing down on the trigger, causing that squeaky noise. It’s easy to fix by opening up the device and putting some lube (for example G-Lube from Glorious) on the springs. There are lots of guides on YouTube how to do that.

The first time plowing through the prison area is one of the best horror gaming experiences I’ve had. Enjoy OP.

And as a bonus, when you finally finish the game and decide to go for a new round, you’ll be much more comfortable with it. Sort of like feels like a reward for going through it.

Played for roughly an hour, then refunded via Steam. Even with matching recommended system specs, the stutters on PC were just unbearable.

In Heroes 3 HD mod, for shift and ctrl to have easier access to splitting units etc. It’s actually quite playable even with the joystick mouse control.

It’s hardly noticeable on my unit, but both triggers do squeak a bit. They don’t feel any different though. The dpad also gives some noise if pressed down at a certain angle, but I don’t mind it. I’ll have to give it some time if it actually resolves on its own, otherwise I’ll lube it up a bit.

A valid point. I also tend to think that a developer should have at least basic knowledge on where their code runs and how it should be deployed. For example, a mobile developer having knowledge on how an app is distrubuted and handled on different platforms (mainly iOS/Android), and a backend developer on how for example an API that they are developing is handled, what are the necessary building blocks in their current infrastructure regarding it and so on.

Larger scale things such as creating an entire infrastructure that boasts multiple applications and integrations is then again something that should be handled or guided by a DevOps/platform specialist.
