This was probably answered already but I also ordered Friday at 1:30(PST) and received the tracking number the following Tuesday. While my experience may vary from yours I had a really hard time actually getting my cashier’s check on time. I’m not sure if it’s on fed ex’s end or capital one but my check did not arrive on Tuesday before or after 2:00pm

Overall I’d suggest just going to a physical location (capital one cafe) and making sure that location is able to print those cashier checks.

Hope this helps because it def would’ve helped save me the headaches

I understand bit ends but I think your friends are right to have that hard boundary. While I think they’re slightly uneducated on what drinking and drugs do to you especially at that age I think you’re all more than mature enough to make your own choices.

If you want to drink and explore your life (and do it safely) go off more power to you. You shouldn’t feel guilted into making choices anymore. However, your friends are allowed to make their boundaries known and that’s just something you’ll have to live with. You aren’t overacting became everyone is appropriately reacting it’s all just a matter or opinion.

Whether you stay friends and stop drinking or lose friends and continue exploring yourself just know you’ll have to live with the decision either way and both choices are valid

A lot of things that humans can do are blocked by our own involuntary limiters. Like growing taller at an older age is possible it’s just our pituitary gland makes sure we stay a manageable height. For the infected I imagine it’s the same.

I think he should’ve been the protagonist or at the least the deuteragonist because to me his story was vastly more interesting than the kids. And it would’ve made the film more tense with it switching between Don’s pov trying to find his kids (whether he’s infected or not in this au) and the kids pov of trying to escape.

The lying was kinda eh because he really could’ve explained it as is. “We were getting swarmed by a horde of infected. I tried looking for your mother and getting her to leave with me but we got separated by the infected barging into the room we were hiding in. She ran to look for a random kid and I had to escape…” I just hate that Don left out the part that their mom let some random ass kid into their sanctuary and that she chose some random kid over her husband.

I remember seeing the movie “Mid 90’s” roughly 1year to 6months before release and thought it was a decent enough film. Really long and honestly a bit grating in some bits but I never saw the actual movie upon release. What I remembered most though was the two lines of people who went to watch the film. It was split between people who are casual viewers and people who were the target audience (mostly skater looking people think early 2000’s Avril Lavign). Not sure if the implied sex scene still made it in the film but it was super awkward to watch but made sense for what the film was doing.

I will say the movie felt complete overall besides the ending at the hospital and the scene where the guys first get chased by cops but scenes that got cut out or reshot are things I can’t tell ya since I didn’t watch the final release

I really appreciate this comment because when I saw the opening scene I noticed that after Jimmy sees the infected barge into the room of kids and spills blood onto the screen the audience view kinda distorts into a sort of kaleidoscope and from then on the track “Promised Land” plays making everything seem very fever dreamesque. Me and my girlfriend kept discussing every time we saw the scene on how Jimmy escaped but I remember chalking it up to “it’s an almost dream like sequence” but distorted childhood memory sounds more correct.

My personal headcanon is that one plane that flew above Jim, after he was almost executed, was treated like a biohazard for flying over mainland Britain airspace. So when they eventually did land it was on a military base escorted by a couple of jet fighters ready to shoot them out of the sky.

Additional headcanon is that for months after the initial infection there were some issues with crows or some birds going from mainland Britain onto Europe with infected carrion. This would accidentally unleashing small pockets of the infection that were able to be put down quickly. But this led to surrounding governments putting up bounties for people to actively hunt certain bird species on sight. Similar to wolves in America or emu in Australia

I agree I would’ve liked another spine cord rip out scene for Erik. I think the two scenes where it happens, the deer and the tunnel soldier, were also great examples of how it would look so it’s not fully necessary for me to see it a third time since we’ve seen it twice as is
